SRM University Ramapuram Campus is an institution approved by the prestigious UGC and AICTE and has had accreditation from NAAC A++ since the year 2018 for 5 years. The MHRD department of government also placed this university in the “A” category. The college has collaborations with SRM Hospitals and Trichy SRM Medical College. Due to SRM's connections with many businesses, students from a range of academic fields are able to tour these businesses' facilities and gain real experience of their dynamic business operations.
The campus features many departments, like the departments of biomedical, mechanical, civil, biotechnology, IT, ECE, EEE, and computer science engineering. It also has departments of English and Foreign Languages, Mathematics, Physics, Architecture, and Chemistry. The first-year students can choose between technical courses in C/C++/AutoCAD/SPSS/Tally and advanced Excel.
